Wintering Swans In The Wetland

Being a walker and lover of nature, I often go over to the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge. It is lovely to watch the way everything changes with the season. Being a wetlands, many birds arrive to spend the winter. Just when the winter is at its bleakest the whistling swans arrive. They usually congregate at a huge pond and make lots of noise. Suddenly the whole place is transformed by their beauty and energy. This was something I had to paint!  The price of this landscape includes a quality wood frame reminiscent of dark tree bark plus a light beige sueded mat and non-glare glass.
